Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: More Than Just a Program

Many organizations have taken on the mandate of building a culture of inclusion and belonging without knowing exactly what that means, what progress looks like, and what work is needed.

The truth is, DE&I is not an initiative; it's a mindset - a mindset that is rooted in Emotional Intelligence. And it is not just something to be rolled out by HR and leadership - every single person has an accountability to build the skills that support this mindset.

On June 23rd, IHHP's Organizational Psychologist, Dr. Cranla Warren, will explore how we can come together to reimagine systems, structures, and cultures in a panel discussion featuring:

  • Rhoda Lalog, Founder of Urban Consciousness
  • Carrie Elrick, Founder of Project Rescuers

Through the power of storytelling, the panel will guide you to challenge traditional company structures and share insights and tools as to how to build a more equitable and inclusive workplace.

After attending the livecast, you will be better equipped to:

  • Empathize and listen without judgement to real, and often difficult, stories
    • Evaluate your ability to recognize your privileges and be challenged
  • Understand where you fit into your organization's DE&I vision and strategy
  • Build a plan to advocate, network, and raise your hand to take on more challenging and rewarding opportunities that increase belonging

We help you harness the emotions that stand in the way of building trust, collaboration, and engagement across the organization. We function as an extension of your team, ensuring that your people build the skills of Emotional Intelligence so everyone can perform at their best even during great challenge and change.

Over the past 20 years, we built a methodology of teaching these skills with life changing results to Olympic and professional athletes, hundreds of blue chip companies, including Goldman Sachs, Intel and IBM and many  government agencies, including the US Marines and NASA. We have also, literally, written the book on pressure, with it becoming a NY Times bestseller.
