          COVID-19 INFORMATION

DAILY PRECAUTIONARY PROCEDURES:
Protecting our residents and employees continues to be our highest priority. All Rennes Group facilities continue with daily precautionary procedures, including screening for all individuals entering the facility. Screenings include travel and symptom-related questions as well as a temperature reading, plus daily oxygen saturation tests for residents. Any questionable travel, concerning symptoms, temperatures greater than or equal to 100 F or low oxygen saturation results triggers COVID-19 protocols. In addition, all staff wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, eye protection, gowns and gloves, as appropriate.

ADVANCED MITIGATION PROCEDURES:
• All affected units or potentially affected units are quarantined
• Residents and staff remain on their assigned units as much as possible
• Monitoring of residents' temperature, oxygen saturation and screening for respiratory symptoms increased to every shift for the affected or potentially affected units.

VISITATION:
We encourage family and friends to visit during our posted visitation times; however, please know should you choose to visit at an alternative time we will accommodate your request. We do appreciate it if you are able to come during the times posted as we have more staff available to assist you through the screening process and we are able to tend to the door quicker; however, should you require different times, we understand. We continue to appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we try to ensure we do all we can to protect our residents, families, and employee.

Residents will be able to accept visitors at all times.  Visitation will no longer be contingent on the respiratory status of the facility.  Residents may deny or withdraw consent for a visit at any time.  Therefore, if a visitor, resident or their representative is aware of the risks associated with visitation, and the visit occurs in a manner that does not place other residents at risk (i.e. in the resident’s room), the resident is allowed to receive visitors as they choose.

Residents will be permitted no more than four visitors at a time to help limit the flow of people within the facility and to ensure all residents can have safe visits. We ask friends and families to coordinate differing visitation times as much as possible.  Residents on isolation precautions are not permitted visitors; please continue to utilize alternative visitation options during this time (facetime, window visits, phone calls).

GUIDELINES AT ALL LOCATIONS:
The core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention need to be maintained; these principles include:

  • • Visitors who have a positive viral test for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, symptoms of COVID-19, or currently meet the criteria for quarantine, should not enter the facility; the facility will continue to screen all visitors who enter the facility
  • • Hand hygiene must be conducted; including upon entry and exit from the facility
  • Masks are required in all common areas in the facility (may be removed only if both resident and visitor are fully vaccinated, and other residents or healthcare personnel are not present)
  • • Physically distancing of at least six feet between people; a resident may choose close contact with a visitor at their discretion

Visitors who are not able to adhere to the core principles of COVID-19 will not be permitted to visit and/or will be asked to leave.

Visitation is not recommended (but is permitted) for residents who are on transmission-based precautions or quarantine. Additionally, it is safer for visitors to not enter the facility during an outbreak investigation or determined outbreak. The risk of becoming infected with or being exposed to coronavirus/COVID-19 may be greater and the facility cannot guarantee this will not occur. In these cases, should the resident and visitor acknowledge the risks and still choose to visit, visits should occur in the resident’s room and the resident should wear a well-fitting facemask (if tolerated).

While not required, we encourage visitors in counties with substantial or high levels of community transmission be tested on their own prior to visiting (e.g. within 2-3 days of coming to the facility).  Additionally, CMS and the CDC strongly encourage all visitors to become vaccinated.  Testing and vaccination can help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We have recommended visiting hours below to help with the flow of individuals coming in/out of the facility. Please know, should you make a visit during other hours, you will need to ring the bell for entry and our employees will assist you to continue to ensure all required screening is completed. We appreciate your patience during after-hours as it may take a few minutes for employees to respond (as they may be assisting residents).

If you have any questions or concerns regarding visitation – please fill out the form below or email us at Covidquestions@rennesgroup.com.

We welcome visitors safely into our facilities.

Thank you!
