Thank you for your interest in visitation at Rennes.

Outdoor Visitation

Outdoor visitation is preferred even when the resident and visitor are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Outdoor visits generally pose a lower risk of transmission due to increased space and airflow.  Visits should be held outdoors whenever practicable.  When the weather conditions are appropriate for outdoor visitation, we strongly encourage the use of our space, including patios, courtyards and walking paths. When conducting outdoor visits, all appropriate infection control and prevention practices should be followed.

Indoor Visitation

Our indoor visitation process will be modified to the below, starting Tuesday, March 16th at Noon. Great news! You no longer need to schedule your visits via online calendars!

At Rennes Health & Rehab Center: Residents will be permitted no more than two visitors at a time to help limit the flow of people within the facility and to ensure all residents can have safe visits. Visitors will no longer be required to schedule a visit online. We ask friends and families to coordinate differing visitation times as much as possible.  Residents on isolation precautions (including 14-day admission precautions) are not permitted visitors; please continue to utilize alternative visitation options during this time (facetime, window visits, phone calls).

Visitors will need to go through the main entrance of the facility and check-in with the front desk. Visiting hours will be Monday – Friday 9AM - 5 PM and Saturday/Sunday 10 AM – 4 PM. For those visiting a resident in a private room, visits will take place in the resident room.  For those visiting a resident with a roommate, only one roommate can have a visit taking place in the room at a time (permitted appropriate consent is on file). If both residents residing in a room together have visitors, one resident will need to conduct their visit in an alternative location within the facility (family lounge, activity room, dining room, etc.) If assistance is needed for an alternative location, our Rennes team will help you in finding a safe spot to visit.

At Renaissance Assisted Living: Residents will be permitted no more than four visitors at a time to help limit the flow of people within the facility.

Visiting hours will be Monday – Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM and Saturday/Sunday 10AM – 5PM. Visits will take place in the resident apartment.

Guidelines at all locations:
All visitors will be required to go through our screening process upon entrance to the facility. Visitors will not be granted permission to visit if; temperature > 100.0 F, exhibit signs or symptoms of COVID-19 (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea), under investigation for or have active confirmed COVID-19, have been in close contact with an individual under investigation or confirmed for COVID-19, have been on a cruise ship in the last 14 days, have traveled internationally within the last 14 days to countries with sustained community transmission of COVID-19.

Additionally, visitors are required to wear a facility provided surgical mask when in the facility. Visitors are also required to adhere to all infection control protocols when in the facility (conducting hang hygiene, social distancing of 6 feet). Residents are also required to wear a surgical mask during a visit. If a resident is fully vaccinated, they can choose to have close contact (including touch) with their visitor while wearing a well-fitting face mask and performing hang hygiene before and after.  Regardless visitors should physically distance from other residents and staff in the facility.

Visitors are asked to not move about the facility and to go to/from their designated area only.  We encourage visitors to limit their visits to no more than 2 hours, to ensure everyone can make visits safely. We ask that all visits be concluded by 7pm. Please remember there is not access to a public restroom.

Children are able to visit; children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and abide by all requirements, including use of PPE; children <2 years of age will not be required to wear a mask; only one child <2 years of age is permitted with two visitors). Pets can visit permitted they meet normal visitation requirements.

Those visiting the facility are encouraged to get COVID-19 tested on their own prior to coming to the facility (within 2-3 days) as well as to become vaccinated when given the opportunity.

Indoor visitation will be permitted, except for a few circumstances in which there is a greater risk of COVID-19 transmission. These scenarios include:

  • Unvaccinated residents, if the facilities COVID-19 county positivity rate is >10% and <70% of residents in the facility are fully vaccinated
  • Residents with confirmed COVID-19 infection, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated until they have met the criteria to discontinue transmission-based precautions, or
  • Residents in quarantine, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, until they have met criteria for release from quarantine

Please know visitation may be cancelled at a moment’s notice due to one of the above scenarios.

If bringing items for a resident during a visit, please notify us during your screening into the facility. We will assist with the appropriate disinfecting of these items and allow you to take the items with you to your visit. Delivery calendars are still available below for drop-off items not connected to a visit.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding visitation – please fill out the form below or email us at Covidquestions@rennesgroup.com.

We ask that you review the following educational information in preparation for your visit.

We are so excited to safely welcome more visitors back into our facilities.  We understand this is a new process and appreciate your patience and understanding as we learn through this together.

Thank you!
