The South County Economic Development Council is offering valuable
assistance to local manufacturers by providing access to various
resources at no cost.
These resources include wage subsidies, workforce development programs,
operational assistance, and more.

The first community listening session will be held on Dec. 6th at 5:30 pm at the Civic Center Library on Fourth and F street in Chula Vista

Beginning Monday, November 20, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will
resume the San Ysidro Port of Entry’s Pedestrian West southbound operations.
The southbound facility will be open seven days per week with limited
hours of operation from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The facility’s northbound operations continue seven days per week with
limited hours of operation from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Through the International Business Affairs Forums, the Chamber provides business leaders with the essential knowledge and resources needed to thrive within the binational marketplace. Attendees also have the opportunity to build and strengthen new relationships, exchange ideas, and debate policies that are relevant to the Cali-Baja business community. Meetings are held quarterly in a virtual setting.
When: November 30 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Learn MoreThe Chula Vista Public Library has been awarded nearly $19.5 million in state grants to make critical upgrades at the Civic Center and South Branch libraries. The grants each total $9,735,000 and are part of the California State Library’s Building Forward Library Facilities Improvement Program. The renovations are expected to be completed in 2027.
