This incredible program is designed to empower high school students to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality by launching and owning their very first businesses.

The next application period for the California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC)
program is
opening on
January 2, 2024 and will
close on January 22, 2024.
The CCTC is a tax credit program, run by the Governor’s Office of Business
and Economic Development (GO-Biz), that grants tax credits to businesses
that want to locate in California or stay and grow in the state.

The South County Economic Development Council is offering valuable
assistance to local manufacturers by providing access to various
resources at no cost.
These resources include wage subsidies, workforce development programs,
operational assistance, and more.
Beginning Jan. 4, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Office of Field Operations will resume operations at the following locations:
In San Diego, California, San Ysidro’s Pedestrian West operations will resume at 6 a.m. local time.
