South County EDC is a non-profit business organization that partners with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) to offer support to the manufacturing companies in South San Diego County.
We are thrilled to share the success of the recent launch of the inaugural class of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!).
Our students had an interactive and engaging learning experience, marking a significant achievement in the program.

The next application period for the California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC)
program is
opening on
January 2, 2024 and will
close on January 22, 2024.
The CCTC is a tax credit program, run by the Governor’s Office of Business
and Economic Development (GO-Biz), that grants tax credits to businesses
that want to locate in California or stay and grow in the state.
The South County EDC's Business Outreach team extends the invitation
to its board of directors and members to volunteer in our canvassing
efforts. This is a great opportunity to learn more on how we
assist our South County business community.
