IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) - Imperial Beach Mayor Paloma Aguirre assured the community is on the right path.

Funded by the federal government, landmark water exchange will raise Lake Mead
The San Diego County Water Authority today announced a landmark water exchange designed to boost water levels in Lake Mead, combat upward pressure on wholesale water rates, and create a new template for water management in the arid West.

The next application period for the California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC)
program is opening on January 2, 2024 and will close on January 22,
2024.
The CCTC is a tax credit program, run by the Governor’s Office of Business
and Economic Development (GO-Biz), that grants tax credits to businesses
that want to locate in California or stay and grow in the state.
The South County EDC's Business Outreach team extends the invitation
to its board of directors and members to volunteer in our canvassing
efforts. This is a great opportunity to learn more on how we
assist our South County business community.
