I wanted to share some appreciation as we wrap up the year. Thank you all for being such an important part of what makes both the South County EDC and the South County the wonderful place we all know and love. Throughout the year our board members, business community, civic leaders, and residents have devoted such tremendous time and energy.
A special thank you to the team here at the SCEDC for the time and dedication you show with each and every member of our community. As an organization and community, we have all strived and will continue towards building strong communities with exceptional opportunities for all.

The City of Chula Vista recently created the Department of Housing and Homeless Services. This new department will provide the staff and resources to more comprehensively address the housing needs of Chula Vista residents
and to advance solutions for the city’s
unhoused residents.
