The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship equips you with the skills
and strategies to deal with contemporary challenges in management
and leadership practice as well as a sought-after professional
qualification.
Through the programme, you will acquire the essentials of organisational
performance aimed at achieving long-term goals, divided into three
main areas:

Across the four-year programme you will develop your individual managerial and leadership capabilities within the changing business environment. The Degree Apprenticeship programmes combines university study with work-based learning, allowing you to dedicate 20% of your normal working hours (off-the-job) to develop your academic skills aligned to your professional development in the workplace. You will learn through a variety of methods including in-person sessions, guided independent and workplace learning, portfolio building, tutorials and group discussions with your course tutors and peers. You will also benefit from expert tutors and guest professionals who will personally illustrate the best practices of management, global and national market trends, technological innovations that impact business strategies and ethical challenges for change.
The course curriculum is rich and varied, encompassing a wide range of subjects, such as Information Management, Accounting and Finance, Foundations of Marketing, Operations Management, Managing in Organisations, Strategic Management of the Digital Organisations, Career Development and Organisational Change. Tutors with extensive industry expertise will work with you to further develop you and your management career through a strong focus on reflective practice, thinking critically and analysing and evaluating complex situational problems.
