The Entrepreneurship Pathway to Workforce Readiness Toolkit will prepare you to facilitate 12 one-hour sessions culminating in a pitch event that enables students to demonstrate skills required for an OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal.
The OhioMeansJobs-Readiness Seal is a formal designation students can earn on their high school diplomas and transcripts indicating they have the personal strengths, strong work ethic and professional experience that employers need. Introducing high school students to entrepreneurship by having them work with a mentor to identify a problem, develop a solution, and pitch it provides an opportunity for them to practice and develop essential workforce skills.
