Why should your organisation certify to Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a scheme developed as part of the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy, which over 30,000 organisations have already certified to. It is an independently verified certification and demonstrates that you are taking your cyber exposure seriously and adopting key steps to mitigate your risks. Cyber Essentials specifies the 5 basic control areas that your organisation should address, in order to mitigate the risk from common cyber threats. These 5 areas, described below, form the basis of the Cyber Essentials controls.
