Dr Mark Bowes, co-owner of Enamel Clinic in Cape Town spoke to IVOblog about his experience with IPS e.max:
"Its longevity and aesthetics is impressive. In the past dentists have had to compromise on materials that look good but don’t last very long. e.max restorations have both beauty and long life. It also allows us to apply minimally invasive protocols as a more conservative approach to restorations. I can restore the teeth without having to destroy them first. It fits our need in every way and is an absolute win-win option."

IVOblog interviewed Aesthetic and Restorative Dentist Dr Busi Mathibela on what she sees as the value of using IPS e.max:
"I’ve been using e.max for a little over 10 years. Prior to e.maxI used Empress 1 and Empress 2. I was delighted when Ivoclar introduced e.max into the South African market and was one of the first to jump on the e.max bandwagon. It has been such a pleasure to use and I have not once regretted it!
When I think about the value of e.max, what immediately comes to mind is its elegance and simplicity. Also the perfect option that it offers to my patients, of attractive aesthetics, longevity and optimal functionality.
Patients want restorations that look and feel like they belong in their mouths. They want durability and quality of life, - restorations that are going to be kind to their biology – for the long term. e.max delivers on all counts."

“e.max revolutionised the dental industry, mainly due to its strength and versatility. I have been using it since its arrival on the South African scene in 2005, and it has added exceptional value both to my practice and to dentistry as a whole! It seems to require 30 years for a paradigm shift to occur in dentistry and this has now happened, with bonded ceramics being adopted as the treatment of choice in indirect restorations. It’s very exciting - especially with e.max!”

Temporary
Telio CAD
Telio CAD is a cross-linked PMMA material for the efficient fabrication of individual temporary hybrid abutment crowns. The 2-in-1 solution (crown and abutment combined) is used after the insertion of the implant and before the placement of the permanent restoration made of IPS e.max CAD in the anterior and posterior region (1,4).
Extraoral Cementation
Multilink Hybrid Abutment
Permanent, extraoral Telio CAD and IPS e.max CAD restorations are cemented to the titanium bonding base in just a few steps with the self-curing luting composite Multilink Hybrid Abutment.
Professional Care
Implant Care
Implant restorations require professional care during the different phases of implant treatment and the required lifelong aftercare.
Dr. Sameer Puri from the USA shares his insights as an e.max customer:
"Telio CAD A16 and IPS e.max CAD blocks optimally complement each other. Therefore, CAD/CAM users are provided with a complete digital workflow which enables them to reliably fabricate temporary restorations and permanent hybrid abutment crowns."
