Leading Through COVID-19:
 Trauma: Self-Care for Adults & Students

The Santa Clara County Office of Education, in partnership with the NYC Leadership Academy, is pleased to offer its "Leading at the Intersection of Equity & Discipline" webinar series. This opportunity for professional development for school staff and community partners will cover a variety of topics connected to equity and discipline in order to reduce school suspensions and provide more support for students.

Join us on June 18th for the second webinar focused on dealing with trauma in the COVID-19 crisis. The 90-minute webinar (60 minutes of content and 30 minutes of Q&A) will:

  • Deepen participants' understanding of the impact of trauma and the creation of trauma-sensitive schools and school systems 
  • Explore trauma-informed approaches for individual resilience during COVID-19 and beyond 
  • Provide recommendations for practicing self care as a key leadership strategy
