Assessment Criteria

Carefully consider the assessment criteria that the judges will be using.

Entries for the competition and the video report will be judged on the following four criteria

Research question and experimental design

The research question is clear, focused and appropriately complex. The experimental procedure is specific and addresses the stated research question allowing valid conclusions to be made.

Critical analysis and evaluation of results

The presenters critically analyse and evaluate both the experimental method and the results. The critique is at a high standard.

Demonstration of experiment

A clear and visible demonstration of the experiment with articulation of how the TecQuipment apparatus is being used.

Effectiveness of presentation

Confident and clear presentation style. The presenters are professionally dressed, speak clearly and look directly into the camera.
