Over 1.7 million Americans suffer traumatic brain injuries (TBI) every year.

Of those injuries, nearly 30,000 affected our brave servicemen and women of the armed forces. Since 2000, it is estimated that over 300,000 soldiers have returned to active duty or their daily lives while still suffering from the effects of a brain injury.

IM for Blast-Related TBI

In 2011, researchers at the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Clinic (DVBIC) at Fort Carson, CO, began a research study on the effects of Interactive Metronome for treating mTBI. The results were overwhelmingly positive, and published in September 2013 in the peer-reviewed Neuropsychology journal.
