Please join us for a fully virtual event to launch the Age-Friendly Kansas initiative to support our growing aging population in Kansas. With this growth, public health professionals will play a crucial role. This event aims to serve as a launchpad for collaboration and shared intention among aging and public health professionals to maintain and improve the health, well-being, independence and quality of life of Kansans as they age.

This event will introduce participants to the
Age-Friendly Public Health Systems Initiative. Participants will also learn about the Age-Friendly Advisory Committee and the process to apply. This committee will assist with informing and developing the Age-Friendly Kansas Action Plan. This statewide plan aims to embed healthy aging practices and age-friendly principles throughout Kansas communities, public health systems and across multiple sectors. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to this vital discussion and be a part of shaping the future of healthy aging in Kansas.
