How can collaboration and innovation help fund and sustain rural health efforts?

Set against a backdrop of shifting funding availability, new opportunities, and persistent resource gaps, the second annual Health on the Plains Summit will explore strategies, collaborations, and innovations to fund and sustain rural health efforts. Participants will learn about the rapidly changing landscape of governmental funding support for rural health, new programs designed to close gaps in access to care, and potential policy levers to advance rural health.

Attendees will also hear from state and national leaders in non-governmental organizations, finding and testing innovative ways to maintain and grow access to funding and resources for rural health. By highlighting current efforts and areas for innovation, the summit provides insights into the vital role funding plays in advancing and sustaining rural health efforts – and the many ways we can collectively move forward in an ever-changing funding environment.
