Extend the Life of PPE. Stretch critical resources like masks by using Surfacide UV-C machines.
Convert Regular Patient Rooms to Airborne Isolated Rooms. All hospitals should have a plan to convert regular patient rooms to negative pressure rooms.
Bolster Patient Observation Services. Shift some patient transportation staff to patient observation to look after high-risk and COVID-positive patients.
Tracking COVID Equipment. Utilize computer maintenance management system (CMMS) to identify and track equipment designated for COVID-only use.
