Excellis HEalth Solutions partners with TraceLinK

Partnership between Excellis Health Solutions and TraceLink to provide local implementation services for its Russia compliance solution through one global compliance platform.

New Hope, PA (July 2019) - Excellis Europe, an entity of Excellis Health Solutions, the global leader in strategic supply chain consulting, is proud to announce our strategic partnership with TraceLink to deliver a first-class Russian compliance solution. Having worked extensively with every segment of the pharmaceutical supply chain (including manufacturers, contract packagers, third party logistics providers, wholesalers, hospital systems, and retail pharmacies), Excellis is uniquely positioned to help because of our experience from "make to take"- not just in the United States, but worldwide. Specifically, Excellis specialises in traceability of pharmaceutical product to comply with the Russian traceability requirement established with the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor).

Under Russian Federal Law No. 425-FZ, pharmaceutical companies are required to manage serialization and traceability of medicines from manufacturer to patient, and report product and transaction events to the central government system. By 2020, all medicines imported into and traded within Russia must comply with the regulation, applying to over 370 manufacturers supplying medicines within, and into the Russian market.

A recent poll showed that 82% of respondents with Russian track and trace requirements feel that Russia's compliance regulations are more complex than any other country. TraceLink will benefit from the partnership between Excellis Health Solutions and KORUS Consulting as they provide those in the supply chain with unparalleled expertise and practical local knowledge to secure their future business in the region.

TraceLink's pre-configurable workflows and application logic enables companies to report on serialized events and manage import, export, receipt, transfer, and shipment processes.

Excellis is also partnered with Russia-based IT consulting firm, KORUS Consulting, to deliver end-to-end support for companies working within the Russian pharmaceutical supply chain. This means that Excellis brings with them a local extension in Russia, which will create a stronger offering to TraceLink.
