Hearts for Homes (H4H) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable
organization helping families of homeless children gain access to permanent
housing in Macomb County, Michigan. The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately
impacted low- and very low-income families with lost or reduced wages.
This has resulted in many families becoming delinquent in rent payments
which has put many families at risk of homelessness. Grant funds would
be used to provide limited rent payment assistance to keep families
in their homes, as well as help Hearts for Homes provide rent/security
deposit assistance to help other homeless families get into their own
homes.
