Back to School:
As schools reopen, BUCO is bringing smiles to classrooms across South
Africa and Namibia with its impactful Pencil Case Initiative. This
initiative will see 38,000 pencil cases donated to primary school learners,
equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.

BUCO, a trusted name in building materials and hardware, is expanding
its mission to support education and build brighter futures.
Recognizing the challenges many learners face, BUCO aims to make a difference
through small yet impactful acts of support. The Pencil Case Initiative,
which launched on 20 January, includes:

400 pencil cases per selected school across South Africa’s nine provinces
            and Namibia.

A chance for each school to win a R20,000 renovation prize to improve
            their learning environment.

Through this program, BUCO reaffirms its commitment to nurturing future
leaders, employees, and customers from local communities.

“As a company rooted in local communities, we believe that every
project begins with BUCO. This initiative equips learners with
essential tools to achieve their dreams—not just for this year
                    but throughout their education journey.”
