We know that attending an Open House or scheduling a private campus tour is not always feasible, so we are hitting the road to meet with you and answer any questions you may have about your son's future at Southern Prep Academy. At this event, you will meet our Admissions Team, parents, a Southern Prep graduate, and current Cadets.
Our mission is to prepare our Cadets for the responsibilities of life and offer the best in academic instruction coupled with the discipline of a military program. If traditional education is not working for your son, it may be time to try Southern Prep. New student admissions for the 2022/2023 academic year are open.
As much as I missed attending regular school, this experience has helped me a ton. I would not be the person I am today if it weren't for Southern Prep and all of the staff.

Our son was crushed by online school during covid. Became incredibly unmotivated and got stuck. He bravely said yes to attending Southern Prep. To date, he played football & soccer, was promoted to company commander in one year, started on his private pilot's license, graduated with 2 college credits and made good friends. He was also accepted to his dream aerospace college. We honestly can’t believe the difference in his confidence and motivation to succeed. The way he speaks and carries himself is so different. Nothing we could have done for him. He did this work by himself. Our son has always hated the mundane. Southern Prep is anything but mundane.
